QI Hong Kong employees brought cheer to children at the Hong Chi Pinehill Pre-school Centre — an educational centre that cares for children with intellectual disabilities, recently with a meaningful visit as part of a Staff Social Responsibility (SSR) activity.
Our volunteers spent the day engaging with the children and teachers at the Centre to understand their needs and the challenges they face in their daily activities. The team also organised various fun and interesting games designed to increase the children’s self-confidence and self-esteem.
Maggie Kung, a volunteer said the activity was a very meaningful volunteering session. “I felt so grateful to be able to bring happiness and put a smile on the children’s faces.”
Another volunteer, La Verna Fan said she could feel that the children were happy to have visitors who interacted and participated in a number of fun activities with them. “We are happy that our visit brought the children happiness. I’m definitely looking forward to the next visit here.”
