RF Trustee and mentor, Mr. Richard Zinkiewicz, with mentees Joe and Mandy mixing and rolling the dough.
The mentors and mentees teamed up in different groups, put on aprons, rolled up their sleeves and got down to business! They worked together; mixed the ingredients, rolled and moulded the dough and baked the sumptuous cookies. Finally, after about 20 minutes of baking, they were excited to sample the cookies straight from the oven. FOOTPRINTS mentors and mentees were able to bond, share precious moments together, learn from each other and have an enjoyable time.

The FOOTPRINTS programme was first launched in 2009 by Vijayaratnam Foundation, the Malaysian chapter of the RYTHM Foundation, and then started in Hong Kong in July 2011. Now a long term project usually spanning over 10 months, the programme has received tremendous support and response from mentors and mentees alike. The programme is aimed at providing the children with opportunities to enhance their life experiences through experiential learning and eco-educational activities.
