“We went around the Causeway Bay area, selling small stickers to the people there. The response from the public was very encouraging, they asked us about the organisation and happily donated to its cause,” said QI Group staff Kitty Tsoi.“Their contribution means a lot to the organisation and inspired all of us to do more,” she added. Another staff Debbie Ng commented on the generosity of the people who had donated. “From the young to the old, the people of Hong Kong are very generous,” she said. The Hong Kong Society for the Blind established in 1956, helps to improve the quality of life of the visually impaired and facilitate their equal participation in society. (ends)
A flag day in Hong Kong is a special day where volunteers help to raise funds for NGOs and charities.
Our staff from QI Group took this opportunity to raise funds for the Hong Kong Society for the Blind, an organisation committed to helping improve the quality of life of the visually impaired.
Our staff spent more than four hours on the streets of Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, talking to the people about the organisation’s activities and encouraged them to donate.
