Hong Kong: 17 January 2006 – The Hong Kong Council of Social Services (HKCSS) has awarded the Caring Company Logo to QI Ltd and its Corporate Social Responsibility arm RYTHM Foundation.
The Caring Company Logo is awarded each year to companies in Hong Kong that undertake initiatives and activities demonstrating good corporate citizenship. QI Ltd, through RYTHM Foundation projects, was this year awarded the Caring Company Logo in recognition for its contribution to various initiatives supporting youth groups in Hong Kong in partnership with the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups.
The adjudication panel for this award consists of senior member from a cross-section of business, academia and social welfare departments in Hong Kong. Initiated in 2003/04, past awardees including AOL Time Warner, American Express International, and Apple Daily Ltd.
The HKCSS is an umbrella organisation comprised of more than 300 non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that provide over 90% of the social welfare services in Hong Kong. The HKCSS is concerned with the development of social welfare services in Hong Kong and facilitates cross-sector partnerships, while advocating equality, justice and social integration.
