FOOTPRINTS is a mentoring programme that seeks to match less fortunate children with caring adults for the purpose of grooming them to excel in life. The friendship between the mentor and child provides the child with a new chance to develop confidence and learn about the world around them.
Within the QI Group, FOOTPRINTS sets an excellent platform for knowledge-transfer to the underprivileged children in communities in most need of an informal educational programme. This creates a form of learning through experience-sharing, coaching and regular interaction on a one-on-one basis between one child and one mentor, who is an employee of the QI Group or an Independent Representative from QNET. Staff or IRs play the role of coach to provide care and love for these children.
FOOTPRINTS is actively carried out throughout the QI Group offices in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Manila, Bangkok, Jakarta and Bangalore.
